    301 Cardiff

    Hey y’all, just bought a 301a Cardiff during winter time and finally now just using it for a-rigs and swimbait baits, but I have a problem! The problem is that the drag is slipping even when my drag is tighten all the way! How do I fix this before I decide to buy something new?

    Did you fill the reel with braid ? If you did and did not anchor the end of the braid with tape or use monofilament backing, the braid (all the line on the spool) can turn on the metal spool. You then get the impression that the drag is slipping.
