    Marker Light Out

Anyone ever have a marker light on their trailer go out? I guess they're sealed and I need to replace the entire thing?

Could just be a bad ground connection at the light.

I finally climbed underneath my trailer. It's not a ground problem. The socket separated from the lense. It doesn't light up hanging there too. I just emailed Tim ay Phoenix to see if he can hook me up.

plug it back in, when I've found that, plugged it in, and the light has worked.

It just a pigtail.....if it cant be clean enough to work, you can buy one at your local autopart store and replace it...

IT WORKS! I wire brushed what I could and pushed it back in as far as I could. It works. Thanks for the help.

Now, if it falls out again, it is probably because the wire is vibrating from driving around the hiways, and dragging the trailer in and out of the water. What I did was get an 1/8th inch plastic wire clamp at the hardware store. Drilled a hole next to the base of the light onto the trailer, put in a machine screw that also holds the wire clamp. That'll hold the wires tight/snug so they don't vibrate, and the plug doesn't fall out anymore. This was on my old trailer so an extra screw was no problem.
