    Question Punctureless cull tags

Opinions please on the cull tags that loop over the fish's tail. I almost lost another tournament fish this weekend and want to try something other than the big bulky clips and floats.

Thought it was a good idea, tried them, they suck. I don't think they stayed on for 5 minutes.

They dont work very well IMO. A bass's tail fin is not very "structural" like some fish. It basically folds up and slides through anything that is the same size of smaller than its body.

I like the rapala cull tags the best. Not bulky. Smaller clips and balls. I only need em to get ahold of fish for weigh in not to dangle from the scale. So these work perfect for me. I do have the cal coast tags too but seem quite big for under 3lb fish.

Just looked up the jd culltags. Those look amazing. I never have been a fan of the lip clips. I honestly think they're more harmful than puncture tags

Been using these for about one year, they do not come off and are cull beam friendly.

I've used Ardent clips the past two years and haven't had any come off. I didn't get the set with the balls, just the clips and used different colors of paracord.

I also saw a picture of someone that took some crankbaits, painted them 1 color and used them as a "ball". If I find the balls are too bulky as well, that's what I will try.

I’m really surprised to see how little people suggest the Th marine g force cull system gen2. That’s all my buddies and I use and we love them.

Cal coast 2.0 best cull clip on the market, have never had a fish die with them , if one does with them it wasnt due to the clip ..
