A few issues with Active Target

I've used mine a few times and have noticed a few issues. First, the auto-depth setting when using downscan does not work well. I find myself constantly changing the depth manually. The other issue is that at times, only one or 2 items show up in the menu. In the areas where the other menu items should be, I just see the background Active Target screen. I checked my user interface settings and the "Auto Hide" feature was turned off. Also, this is not a voltage problem. I have two Ionic 125aH lithiums in parallel for starting and electronics, a Sea Clear wiring harness, and get a constant 12.6 volts to all my MFD's. Would like to know if anyone else has experienced this. Thanks.

Auto-depth with all types of Live-sonar tends to have issues, especially when the bottom is sloping or there is a bit of chop (waves). Use manual instead, unless the bottom and sea are both flat (in which case you can use manual anyway since you don`t have to adjust depth....)
The menu-problem sounds a lot like a software bug in your unit, I have never seen that myself. A hard reset is worth a try.

    Thanks. Will try that.
