2002 518vx console touchpad - fuel switch question

Console has the 91YY5041 touchpad with the port/starboard fuel switch. All buttons function with the exception of the fuel switch which quit working this past weekend. Is there any way to troubleshoot the switch? Basically it lights up and toggles between port and starboard but the dash fuel gauge doesn’t move like it used to when working properly.

Not sure if it has a fuse, but you could check pretty easy. Let us know
