When someone's dog unloads next to the path at the park, is it better if they bag it and leave the bag there or just ignore it and walk on? I'm kind of puzzled when people bag it and leave a plastic bag (litter) full of crap. They just figure somebody will pick up after them?

My neighbor and I used to do this when we walked our dogs years ago. The dogs would always crap 2 mins after getting to the field so instead of carrying it around for an hour or so, we would put the bags somewhat off the beaten path and pick them on the the way back.

I bag and carry, the concept of bagging and picking up was recently introduced to me. The neighbor who has two great pyrenese does this. He doesn't like carrying two pounds of shit in each hand for 30 minutes so he bags, drops, grabs on way home.

Some well meaning idiot was picking up their dog's poo every time. Then they threw the bag behind the dumpster building every day. What a blivit!!
