Livescope 32 Power

I understand the unit draws a lot of power. Is a separate 12 volt battery required? I have so many thing already on my starting battery I am afraid it will drain it enough not to get the big motor started.

Do you need a separate power source, i'd say no, but as you said, you have lots of other stuff so maybe its warranted to have.....some guys are putting 2 starting batteries in parallel to have that extra power and others are getting a second battery as just the "house" battery for electronics and keeping the original for starting.

I'd say its up to you.
