Need Advise on Unit for Ghost

I run Garmin sv pluses ,just order the Ghost what's a good cheap unit to use for this?

I don't think a unit is necessary, unless you plan on using some of those features. I have lowrance units, but I do not use those features that require a lowrance unit. Had an ultrex's on previous boats with lowrance.

Ghost works fine as standalone. If you want to program waypoints and direct the trolling motor to run those waypoints you would need a Lowrance unit. I've found it advantageous to set a waypoint in middle of cove or creek and direct trolling motor to go to that waypoint while I am putting up rods and other equipment when getting ready to move to a new location. It saves time and keeps the boat in a safe area while I am distracted doing other things.

The Elite FS is a great unit to use with the Ghost if you only want one unit to pair with it for the autopilot functions, and very reasonable in cost.
