Setting oil thingamajig with feeler gauge

Years ago I set the oil injection( cant remember the name of it) the thingamajig on the side of the motor that allows a certain amount of oil to be injected. The motor is a 98 vmax 225hp ox66. It seems to be burning more oil and the rod is loose that connects to the part that can be adjusted it has a plastic knuckle on the end of the rod. I cant remember which size feeler gauge to adjust it. Can anyone help

When i did mine i wrapped the threads with teflon to keep it from twisting and possibly cracking.

    Its says set at .02. I have some feeler gauges with .020, .022, .024, .025, .028. Do I use .020 or what?....
