As I am getting ready to get into a new 4 stroke I need to pass my 2006 225 Pro XS (1B244530) along to somebody who could use it. It has 545 hours on it and compression has not yet been checked. New compressor about 100 hours ago. Serviced 5 hours ago. Mechanic will have full run down/print outs available.
Assuming the compression all checks out ok what would be a good price point to list this engine for? (California market if that matters)

Given the year and hours- combined with the number of these in the market that might be a tad high. No harm in starting there, however (whole lot easier to REDUCE the price than to get someone to offer to pay MORE than the asking price).
