You’d be better off with a quick wax type product.

I only use 303 on seats and any plastic in the boat.

Be careful with it. The stuff they call 303 Fabric Guard I saw a case where it was spilled onto boat carpet in a Ranger and it melted the carpet glue and caused the carpet to release in that spot.

303 only on the seats. Boat and motor get Lucas Slick Mist.

I've used it on the cowl the seats, the gelcoat, the rubrail, the tires. its a fine product. there maybe something better for the cowl, but I kinda don't like having 30 different bottles of stuff for each specific task.

never heard of 303 damaging anything, that's a new one for me, I've been using it for 15 years or so

The center armrest in Mama"s Tahoe cracked where my elbow rested on it. The upholstery shop where I took it asked what I used on it. Won't go there. He works on a lot of Classic Cars and suggests that 303 is the best he has found for all synthetic covering.

I use it on the seats and use a wax as you dry for hull and plastic like the cowling. That said, I wouldn't hesitate to use 303 on the cowling if I didn't want to carry 2 products.

I use it on everything. Trick is to rub it on let dry a little and then get another clean dry towel and buff it up like wax.

Does the Slick Mist get the water spots off the cowling?
