I 've got a P2 with a swing away trailer jack that I have to maneuver inside my garage after backing it in . The factory wheel is a 6" hard plastic wheel that turns terrible pushing the trailer where where it has to go . Is they a better turning wheel available I can change to ?
They get old and gummed up after years of use. Changed the one on my Champ last year to the Fulton XL and its smooth as butter now and rolls easy.
Put a new Fulton XL off basscat site for mine and rolls easy on pavement.
The jack wheel spins ok when the wheel is aligned with the trailer frame (straight forward or straight back) . Problem seems to be getting the wheel to pivot /rotate for steering the trailer while pushing it back into the corner of my garage .
Mine acts the same way when it’s jacked up pretty high. But it rolls just fine in any direction if I lower it a bunch after disconnecting from the hitch.
