    Rec Tec Down

I was cooking on my 680 R T and I hit it with water hose trying to remove pollen on the table behind it , it still runs but is not heating at all . kinda strange but I can turn it down to 250 and it will smoke the pellets but not develop heat . Any ideas what I might have messed up . There was very little water that made contact and not sure if it was heating before that happened because I just had started .

They didn't get even damp , its reading error 2 now I decided to change pellets but it didn't help seems like auger will not turn because I manually put pellets in fire box and it works .

I got it fixed !!!!! The problem was the skinny little bolt that is used to connect the auger motor to auger shaft had snapped , I used a Finnish nail for pin till tomorrow when I can get a few at hardware store . Buckeye you were correct the damp pellets are what caused the jam in the first place .

Realized the shaft pin is designed to break so as not to damage the electric motor that turns auger !!!!! I do love my Rec Tec 680 .
