If you aren’t using them, get rid of them IMHO and spend the money on something you will use. I have an Ultrex and poles. Use the poles more than the spot lock because I fish a local river system a lot. Wouldn’t give up either of them.

Sold mine 2 years ago. With Ultrex, I haven't missed them once, glad they're not in the way.

I bought mine mainly for not having to tie up to docks. And i too mainly fish ledges but they have come in handy in fall and spring. I have had same problems with mine not deploying together. Power pole replaced board in one seemed to help for awhile but like you i think they lose sync. I would not get rid of mine.

I think it all depends on how you fish. I for one was set on going power poles this year at one point. Got to thinking about it and while I think they would be nice I decided I would be better suited to upgrade to livescope instead. Power poles can wait another 2-3 years.
