    Pulled prop

    I had new lu install little over year ago I don't think they put proper spacer for prop https://postimg.cc/bZNk166W

    Could be the wrong thrust washer or the right thrust washer that failed due to improper torque of the propeller nut. Have seen the latter way too many times.

    Folks don't want to buy a torque wrench. Or use the one they may have.

    From what I have seen tighter is better then loose.

    The nut didn't seem too tight. But I’m not sure what the spec is. So do you think the damage is bad or did I catch it in time?

    Could’ve bearing housing broke and shifted back into the prop?

    I have not heard of a bearing housing migrating aft. Have heard of many propellers moving forward into the gear case and the bearing housing.
