Co Angler on Dardnelle Next Month

Going to fish as co-angler first week of May in tournament....never been there before.

Any tips on were to stay in Russellville, where to eat, etc would be helpful.

From what I have read about past tournaments, shallow crankbaits, spinner baits and soft plastics appear to be best to throw???

Don't forget bladed and swim jigs. There is a little burger place just north of I-40 on highway 7 you need to try.

Thanks....any recommedations for lodging.....may be going down with a buddy who has a boat so we need some place to accomodate that as well.

America's Best Value Inn and Suites is a good cheap hotel with parking and outside plugs. I stay there all the time.

Can pretty much catch them any way in May....but a swim jig, chatterbait will come in handy ;-)
