I am trying to transfer my waypoints from my Gen 1 Helix 10 to my Gen 4 Helix 10. I'm using an empty SD card that has been formatted. After exporting my waypoints and routes to the SD card the Gen one unit says it has successfully done so. However when I turn on the Gen 4 unit I get a prompt saying that the SD card was successfully "encrypted". But when I go to look at my waypoints there are none there. Where am I screwing up?
The unit puts an Encrypt folder on an unlocked memory card==that is for the download of a Chart Select purchase.
That has nothing to do with the waypoint MATRIX folder that has the waypoints in it.
AFTER you get the Encrypted message, remove and reinstall the card and your waypoints will load.

On your SD card create a folder called “Matrix” and copy the waypoints to this folder.
if you using the Humminbird PC app and upload the waypoints to an SD card it puts them in a matrix folder.
Once I did that my units loaded the waypoints with no issues.
