Just got a 2019 921. Does anyone use live well plugs and why?
For the overflow? I never have but have heard people on here use them on long runs/rough water to keep them full.
Fish have fins, they swim
I use the plug to keep my lw's filled up, never used them or anything else for the overflow. You definitely need them to keep water in there.

I always leave mine in, if you take them in and out you will end up with clogged up lines. Just use a wet vac and vacuum your livewells out every so often.

If you find a garden hose nozzle that fits in the opening and hit it with a little pressure it will clear those lines right out
