    Best jack for flat tires!!!!!!!!!

    My answer is NONE!!!!!!!!

Ok I know there might be a rare trailer this doesn't work on. Of course it does not work with a single axle or a tandem with leaf springs.

With that said you can't beat a Trailer Aid. Yeah I know you can make it out of wood too. But why have sonethingnthat heavy.

I like mine and it works great and very very lightweight.

I forgot to add that one of these will make it really easy.

Having had the Trailer-Aide + (yellow one) since Camco released it in 2002, I can say it works as advertised with a couple exceptions. The studs incorporated into the bottom of the unit cause it to slide on concrete/asphalt and you end up "chasing" it around until it bites and you can actually drive up on it. Not a problem on softer ground.

It will work on axles with springs. You run into problems when there is too much space between the axles, but it will work on most bass boat trailers. As with all roadside tools, make sure they work at home before you need them on the road.

I always carry a 2' long piece of 2"x6" just in case it doesn't get the flat up high enough. Also screwed a piece of old tire on the bottom for additional grip if needed.

Cool ideas. I also carry a cheaper Harbor Feight click torque wrench 1/2. They are on sale for $19.99 at Harbor Freight. I figured it was good enough for limited use for me.

I use AAA. If the hub is screwed up then they can just load the boat to take it to the shop.

Harbor Freight 3000 pound NASCAR style aluminum floor jack. Small and inexpensive and it WILL jack my truck axle if I need to change a tire. Frequently goes on sale for $20 less.

I used a rock out of a ditch once, and if I ever saw one of these in person I'd buy it in a heartbeat

Don’t know where in ND you are, but try the Camping World in Fargo. I’ve seen them in a few of their locations and that is where I bought mine.

Edit: Never mind. Seems they don’t stock them in stores anymore.
