    99 Johnson 225HO (carb) acceleration issue please help!!

    Problem-Motor will not accelerate unless I hold in the key to activate the primer solenoid. Without activating the primer solenoid and hit the throttle the motor will slowly bogged down and die. Motor starts perfect, Idols perfect. Once I get it up on plane I no longer have to mess with the primer solenoid motor turns 5700 RPM and is as smooth as can be. Here is what I have done so far.
    Compression 115-120 on all cylinders
    New fuel pump
    New CDI box
    New stator
    New timer base
    New spark plugs
    New fuel filter
    New carbon reeds
    clean the carburetors
    did a link and sync
    set timing according to the manual
    Any ideas? I could really use some help I’ve been dealing with this problem for two years now

    How many turns out are the idle jets? Clear sleeve still in place on the throttle roller?
