    Oil to Gas mixture - 15hp 2000

    Hi all,

    I got a new 15Hp Mercury 2 stroke. 2000, serial #OT137451

    What is my mixture of gas to oil for the gas can?

    I believe its 50:1 but i just wanted to be sure.

    Serial number is missing a digit and a letter (example: 0T123456, 1B123456).

    Patience... most of us work a day job and assist here as volunteers.

    Your engine requires a 50:1 ratio. Mercury or Quicksilver Premium PLUS would be an excellent choice for oil.

    6 gallons of fuel requires 16oz (1 pint) of oil.

    Can my dad pre mix a 5 gallon can and use that to fill the gas can on the boat as needed?
