VX20 Starting

Does anyone get beeping when you start Pro XS on VX. I press on and get 1 beep and the press start and get 5 beeps. No alarms listed in the gauge.

I hit the On/Off button, get one Beep, Then hit start

My 2021 250proxs mercury was beeping 5 times after startup up and it was a bad sensor of some kind. Motor ran great. Repaired under warranty. No trouble since.

Does it have a FOB for remote starting?
MY DVX had the same issue....I believe the beeping indicates that the FOB is not paired so the kill switch via the FOB is inactive.
Once I paired the FOB the issue went away.

Same beeping occurs if the manual kill switch is tripped except the engine doesn't start.

If the fob is not paired the beep should last for 2 minutes.

after starting, hitting any button on the fob and the light on the start panel should turn green instead of orange, and quit beeping.
