    Swing away tongue slop

I can remember there being some post on here about this before but couldn’t find it. Anyone got any good ideas on how fix the slop in the swing away tongues?

I have to occasionally tighten the nut and bolt where the swing away tongue
hinges at and that seems to do the trick, I think I have done it once a year since I bought the boat new
in 2018. I think the pins and holes the pin and bolt go through just wear alittle over time but tighten them up has
    worked for me.

If you don’t have to use the swing away replace pin with bolt. problem fixed

My garage is big enough I don’t have to use the swing away. So you just put a bolt in the pins place and tighten it up all the way?

That is what I do on long trips to minimize the wear.

I would bet you can get some large bushings that you could take the slop out of the holes - old car hinges are repaired that way

While you're at it install a receiver U bolt to eliminate the slop and noise coming from it and you will be set.
