Low oil alarm (after deleting oil injection)

I recently removed the oil injection system from 89 Mercury blackmax 150. I removed the internal and external oil reservoirs, removed the oil pump (replaced it a block off kit), disconnected the sensor leads from the idle stabilizer, removed the oil alarm module, plugged the pulse line from the crank case, and am pre-mixing the fuel. I am STILL getting a low oil alarm.

I'm stumped. Is there a short somewhere in the system that is sending an alarm?
