Walmart has lanyards in a kit with kill switches. Get one and hook two lanyards together.

I had someone make a paracord bracelet with a D ring sewn in. I leave the lanyard attached to the bracelet all the time and just take the bracelet on and off. There is enough room to stand up. I like this a lot better than clipping it to my clothes.

I put 2 of the red coiled lanyards together, used 2 tie wraps to hold them together, works great,

Make a custom length lanyard by taking weed eater line and wrapping it tightly around a wooden dowel and put it in boiling water for 10 minutes.

What does it do to wrap it tight and boil it? Take the coils out or add coil?

Hook it to your ankle bracelet? I do wrap mine around my ankle sometimes.

That short lanyard is inconvenient, but its that way for a purpose.
The engine dies as soon as you are thrown from the seat. If you happen
to be ejected over the shift leaver on a long lanyard, the motor is still
running when you hit the water. You dont want to see a body thats
been hit by a prop, I have. Think about it. LDS
