Talon says it’s 8ft when it’s a 12ft

When I connect to my talon via Bluetooth it says it’s an 8 foot model when it’s a 12. I looked up the control board part thinking it maybe someone put in the wrong board at one point but it appears the part number is the same for all 4 Bluetooth models.

any thoughts ? Sometimes when it goes all the way up it doesn’t think it’s all the way up. Thinking it’s confused since it thinks it’s an 8 foot model.

I have a pair of 15's and the app on my phone says 8 as well. Never been an issue though.

One of mine says 12, one says 8. Very strange. I think the control board might be going. The middle light of the 5 doesn’t work anymore.

All Talons have the same control board. 8' to 15' 10 to 15' must be calibrated for their length. If the control board is replaced by an ASC then the ASC will Calibrated the board to the correct length of the Talon. If it just started to act weird then it could have been a power issue that caused it. It may need to be recalibrated. The board that is.
If you see it is having other issues then it should be replaced. ASC will know what to do.

It’s not working properly and when I connect Bluetooth to it via my phone and app says device connected 8ft talon.

Ok so does it work with the remote or does it not work with the remote?
If this is something that just started happening then I would relate it to some sort of a power issue that occurred. It is necessary that power be disconnected when charging your batteries. Battery chargers are known to cause issues with modern electronics.
I would bring it in to an ASC and let them look at it.
