This used to be close to the busiest place on BBC, and now it's almost dead. I'm boatless bank trash, but I'm still willing to talk bad about Bullets and Basscats.

Rog I agree! I still visit BBC many times daily & always cruise by here looking for chat. I guess all the LA chatters either retired or moved over to facebook. I don’t get the popularity of facebook at all. Nothing is in order & if you see something interesting & try to find it later it’s a crapshoot!

Yeah I check Facebook but don’t post my life story there.
Yeah, it fell off pretty bad on here a while back... I wasn’t on here for a while because of work and then when I started catching up, nothing was going on...
Agreed. I check every now and then but it’s been quiet for a good while.
Roger, Doug and I was talking about this the other day.
Glad to see your still kicking old man!
I miss the daily laughs from some of the threads that were posted to this forum. Always had something brewing

Yeah I think everyone transitioned over to the different groups on FB. I check the board every now and then but used to be multiple times a day in its prime.

FB sucks.
I moved to Texas but I still cruise through every time I get online. I remember checking in and there would be 60+ people on the Louisiana forum alone.

I'm new on the forum, but I look in every now and then. Fished the spillway from 1985-1998 then went state hopping with my job. Came home to Loranger when I retired six years ago. Just don't have that much bass fishing within a couple of hours drive. Went to the spillway a few years ago and places where I caught fish are high and dry. I used to make the turn in to big pigeon and barely cut back on the throttle. If I did that now, the boat would be on the woods.
Thanks for the info. I fish the Tangipahoa and Tchefuncte some, but I never go to Tickfaw. It seems that these rivers suffered tremendously during the 2011 hurricane and haven't recovered yet. Just my thoughts
My boys qualified for the High School State tournament by fishing Tickfaw a few weeks ago. Only have a 1/2 day to fish there on a weekend right now because of all the boat traffic. Will be less time as the mornings start to warm up.
