BassCat recommends Scrubbing bubbles and a soft brush to clean them and then wipe them down with Lemon Pledge.

Oxiclean spray. Works fantastic even takes out those small black specs of mold. Just spray on cloth and wipe the dirty spots. Then treat with 303. Trust me works like a charm with dirt, grease you jame it.

I have had good luck using Tough Stuff multi purpose cleaner. I clean them in small sections at a time. Simply spray on some cleaner and let it soak a couple minutes then scrub for a minute and wipe clean. It made my old boat seats look new again. After cleaning I applied a coat of Armor All vinyl protectant.

FYI the link is for 2 cans, You can buy a single can...https://www.walmart.com/ip/2-Pack-Tu...2-oz/557059466

In my boat restoration business we build upholstery and do warranty work for several boat brands on there upholstery....I would never use household products on my seats....mainly the threads/seams...

agreed, I don’t understand using lemon pledge for seat protectant / quick wax etc when you have plenty of choices of products made specifically for the job you are trying to do.

Pro-Tec Mighty Tuff or 3M Vinyl Cleaner to deep clean. Really good on light colored seats with light thread.
BassBoat Saver as an everyday cleaner and protectant.
14 years old and the seats still look exceptional.

Because we’ve proven it has worked for over four decades? Lemon Pledge and Scrubbing Bubbles have never harmed a seat, vinyl or stitching to our knowledge.

We have seen multiple damages to seams, thread and vinyls by many of the vinyl care products made specifically for those uses. We have done simple for over 40 years with excellent results.

Other important aspects are quality vinyls and threads.

I would imagine lemon pledge has zero uv protection, and seats would fade quicker vs a 303 type product with uv protection. I understand some inferior products may damage the vinyl though.

303 vinyl cleaner, followed by 303 protectant.
