Heading to Chickamauga, what to bring

Hello, I am heading to Chickamauga next week to fish a tournament as a co-angler. I have never fished there before and was wondering what would be the top baits you'd bring for this time of year?

Not looking for spots just baits that are normally productive in Spring.

    Thanks

Depends on what plans your boater has. Conventional wisdom would still be beating the bank for spawners and fry guarders. If that is the plan, I would have a wacky rigged Senko (green pumpkin), and a shad pattern square bill crankbait. I don't think you can go wrong with those. If any offshore is in play, football head jig or a Carolina Rig, either paired with a green pumpkin trick worm (or similar). Chick's been very tough of late due to water fluctuations as well as incredible fishing pressure. Good luck, I'm afraid you will need it.

Thanks for the response, sounds like I need to get creative depending on where I wind up.

Just got back from the Chic I would bring lots of alcohol because the fishing was very tough with the 3ft water drop with the bass trying to spawn
