    Flooring Material

I have a ‘98 Ranger 681vs. I’d like to replace the floor, which is carpet, with something that won’t hold water and dirt. I’ve thought of vinyl, seadeck, snap-in carpet, etc. Cost isn’t the primary concern. What I am concerned about is the fact that the carpet comes up about 4” vertically on the sides where is ends on a trim. I don’t think I could get any other material to come up the vertical sides and look decent. Any thoughts or suggestions?

On the newer boats I have seen, the Seadeck etc is used on the floor and carpeted on the vertical. I'm sure there are others ways to do it, but that is what I have noticed.
