What trailer tires came on your trailer?

I have a 2017 tandem axle trailer with Carlisle tires and the left rear is wearing bad on the inside and the belt is showing. I have 28,000 mile on them. What would cause the one tire to start wearing like that? I always run the correct air pressure of the recommended 50 psi. Thanks

Trailers don't have adjust capability like vehicles, and few people ever thing about rotating trailer tires. Sounds like a little bit of a camber issue on that hub. 28,000 miles isn't too bad but I bet you would get a lot more if you rotate them from now on.

    Bent spindle or loose bearing.

I’ve never tracked how many miles I have on a trailer tire. I couldn’t even guess. I just go by wear or every 3 years replace them. What do you guys do, actually write down and track the mileage?

My truck actually tracks the miles when I’m towing a trailer, that’s the only reason I know.

low pressure, bent spindle/axle, loose bearings, lack of rotation.

I rotate the tires on my tandem twice a year. Also, wear is much better with P tires compared to trailer tires I used to run.

Same here cant stress this enough. I will never buy trailer specific tires again they are just not good tires. We do the same on all of our work trailers as well.
