I need to remove the hand controls from my boat but, with everything dismantled as far as I can, I have no room to be able to get the housing out from between the cockpit sidewall and the hull of the boat. Does anybody have any experience with these and can give me a couple of tips. Throttle unit is a Quicksilver 3000. It's being replaced with a G2 fly by wire but this is sold with the used motor and needs to come out.
