    Temp sensor question

    My boat came with a AI 2in1 transducer and the thru hull transducer doesn't appear to have a temp sensor. How are you guys getting a temp reading from the console? I find it very odd that a temp sensor wasn't installed at the factory. Am I missing something?

    Don't know if I have the 3 in 1, or 2 in 1, but my transducer is mounted to the back of the boat and seems to get a temp reading ok. Not sure how accurate it is... I did have to set up the overlay on the HDS 12 to show water temp on the screen, as well as speed over ground, etc.

    Never mind I see that the 2 in 1 has a temp sensor built in.
