Have a livewell switch so you can manually run from bow. I use mine all the time.

I ended up getting it to work with the factory wiring and replacement switch. Just had to remove the timer from the mounting plate and disconnect the TH toggle switch, and wire the timer to my switch.

Just a few updated pics with a before pic for comparison.

Awesome bonus news was I talked with Alan and BCB and was informed that they would rewire it if I brought it to them. Which, while I fixed it, for longevity and keeping it looking more factory might be a cool deal. Otherwise, I will have to remember the exact part numbers for things and hope they are still manufactured if/when I replace them.

I'd take them up on that rewire, 33 year old wires in there that have been subject to who knows what type of abuse over the years.

I would absolutely love to have BCB rewire my ‘89 PII.

So, I ordered the Bunk and Fender carpet kit from BCB. 149 bucks isn't bad at all.

The directions they sent didn't mention chamferring the end but I read enough post of here, BCB owners forums, the BCB archive forums, etc etc I figured it out.

I was able to get the top bunk cushion layer as well with the included carpet.

There was some discrepancy on some of the measurements, but I called and just followed the directions they sent and what I was told.

They are 2x6 in pressure treated ripped (cut length-ways) down to 4.75 inches or 4 3/4. The Front angle is 1 inch in from the outer side of the bunk going back towards the same side rear 18 inches. Weldwood DAP Contact Cement is recommended but all I had was Gorilla Spray adhesive so I used it. Took 2 cans. 1/2 inch stainless staples ( I used my Arrow Pneumatic Stapler (available at Lowe's for under 40 bucks). Made it way easier.

Ken Smith Fishing has a video on Youtube where it kind of shows how to carpet the chamferred end of the bunk, just be prepared to pause and watch it a few times to get the idea. Don't expect perfection especially if it is your first time, like it was mine. With each bunk I have gotten better and learned more.

    So, my supply list was:
Bunk and Fender carpet kit from BCB - $149
    2 Cans Gorilla Spray Adhesive - $25.00
    2 - 2x6x10 from Lowes: $28.76
    1 - 2x6x12 from Lowes: $17.48
    1 - Box of t50 Stainless Staples: $12.98

So, for about 250 I did it myself and got to spend time with my kids and not have to wait 2-4 weeks for BCB complete finished bunks plus the additional shipping of 10 foot bunks.

Anyone happen to have parts for the fuel tanks in these old Pantera 2's?

Those panels would really look much better if you would round the corners and bevel the top edges. Also, countersink the screw holes instead of using the washers. Just a thought !

Yeah it was a bit of a challenge with just a handheld router. The screws are actually self tap ones, no washer.

    Update

So, sorry I haven't posted on this in awhile. The whole project ended up getting back burnered. I had to have a neck fusion and then 2 weeks after I finished the physical therapy I was rear-eneded at over 50 MPH by a guy with no insurance or license. And then they found that I have 3 additional bulged disks and discovered a cardiac problem requiring stenting. So, its sitting in my garage again.

Anyway, here's where I am/it is at currently:

Haven't gotten much changed. Got 2 new fuel pumps and installed them.

However, as luck has it again, I have 2 motors bad now. So my 86 Blackmax 200 is down and so is the original 88 Mariner 200 that came on it. Both appear to need to be resleeved. The Mariner will probably require a new crank as well, but I am not a mechanic so not entirely certain, but know the Mariner is 100% in trouble. Soo....not sure where to go from here or what I am gonna do.
