    Kingsley Crappie?

I'm staying on Kingsley Lake this week and hoping to catch some crappie. I've got plenty of numbers for bass fishing but wondering if those same numbers will hold crappie also. Any tips on crappie fishing there? I've only fished for bass and do pretty good on the brush piles and other offshore structure.

Not sure here but I would try deep for now, jigs and minnows or deep diving crank baits, 6-8 feet deep out in deeper water to start. That lake is very deep for a florida lake so keep that in mind.

Btw the way Yankees call them crappie down here they are specks .🌝

The last hour of daylight is going to be your best time . Look for grass in about 18-22 feet .

For many years after SI came out I fished a lot at night. Keep your boat in 16 foot of water and idol around. You will come across a mega school and catch them till you are tired. During the day I enjoy drifting over the 40 foot of water when the suspend.
