I would never suggest going to a three blade propeller to benefit hole shot. Depending on what propeller you have, you may try and reduce exhaust through smaller PVS plugs targeting 3500 to 3800 RPMs on initial throttle stomp

I thought going to a different pitch would help an I had a 2001 896 with the same motor and I had the 25 3blade on it and I did not have the problem with it. if anyone knows what prop belongs on a 2002 Nitro 896 DC 200 MERC XR6

There’s much more to making a boat perform well on low end and top end than just pitch.

You have provided no information to base any suggestions. Rpms, speed,Brand model and pitch propeller, motor height, water pressure, etc.
