    Hey, guys I just purchased a tritoon with a Suzuki 04 250 when you turn the wheel there is a lot of play also I can move the motor back in forth with my hand that can't be normal it has sea star steering any help would be appreciated. It's now leaking hd fluid under console didn't notice this before

    Sounds like you need to bleed the steering system to take out the play.

    Check to make sure that the hose fittings on your steering helm are not leaking or you could have a bad steering helm. Also check to see if there is fluid in the overflow tube that goes to a fitting on your console. There are some youtube videos of how to bleed the steering or have a shop use their power bleeding kit and be done with it.

    May have a bad seal on the helm unit.

    Need to look for leaks when the wheel is turned figure out where its coming from and go from there. Once the leak is fixed fill and bleed the system.

    Note that none of this is related to the Suzuki engine of course!

    Sounds like the helm needs resealed/ rebuilt.
