    Removing seats in 2017 198P?

How do you remove the bottom seat in a 198P? I want to look under the seat to inspect the fuel tank. I want to find out where the gas fumes are coming from. Also looking for the location of the fuel demand valve. The FDV is not inline in the rear compartment. Does a 150 Pro XS 2 stroke use a FDV or is the valve only used on the 4 strokes.
    Thanks, Allen

There is no Velcro on the backs. They are fully bolted in. They don’t budge. I read somewhere that the bottoms slide in. Not on this boat. I’ve applied a ton of please on the bottoms, even with the assistance with a piece of wood in the groove in the back. Both of these units don’t move.

Interesting? I can pull so hard on my backs it feels like I’m going to break the plywood in half. They don’t budge at all.

You are just pulling on the center cushion of the seat back correct? Not the entire seat back. The center puffy part is just velcroed in there.

Wow, now I feel silly, lol, never considered the center section was separate, lol. I cannot thank you enough for solving my little seat challenge and failed wrestling match. Allen
