    Tracker Trailer parts

I am about to order parts to install disc brakes on my 2017 tracker 190 trailer.Questions I have are . Is the tongue of the trailer at the hitch 3in need to know so I can order the Demco hyd brake actuator. And will the Kodiak disc brake kit 10in rotor, 5 on 41/2in hub size work, this kit is for a 3500lb trailer. Also are the springs 26in, gonna replace those also with 3500lb springs. TIA.

The factory drum brakes on my Tracker trailer (TrailStar) are 10" ( I have 13" wheels). Don't know if that helps with discs. My axles have a four-bolt (square) pattern as pictured below. Also, my actuator is a TieDown 660 drum model, they make a 660 in disc brake compatable. I believe they are very similar so I assume they would both fit the same trailer. https://www.tiedown.com/pdf/c1250.pdf

If you have the option of an actuator with a reverse bypass solenoid, choose that. You will need to install a five wire harness. The fifth wire is from your reverse lights which activates the solenoid opening allowing brake fluid to bypass the brake system when compressing the surge system so you can back up without locking the disc brakes and without installing a lockout pin every time you want to back up. Uni-Servo drum brakes do not need the lockout.
