    Lock for outboard

    My brother asked how he can lock a 9.9 hp outboard to his tin boat.. any suggestions?

    They make a pad lock apparatus that fits over the mount handles.

    Should be able to find a padlock that fits through the holes in the transom clamps. I have a padlock on my 9.9, it was a bit of a struggle to make it work but it works. Mine is a Merc.

    I have a padlock on a 9.9 Mercury 4 stroke. Just needs a little larger than a standard size lock.
