So what years does this part # fit any idea? I have a 2019 Z520L and when I order I want to make sure this will fit my boat. Nothing against Ranger parts, but if i can bypass I would rather just call a dealer with a part #

    Thanks

Part number is on the package in that first pic on the 1st post in the thread. Have to check with your dealer (or Ranger) on compatibility.

To reiterate, it is not necessary to tell a Ranger dealer what part number you want. The dealer will look up the right part number for you in the Ranger system, based on your hull ID and your description of the desired part.

Nice video. I purchased my auxiliary key switch when I picked my new Ranger up from the dealer.

I wonder if this switch will work on a 2008 Z21 with a Mercury Optimax Pro XS 2 stroke?

Hey can someone do me a favor. The deutch plug on the boat side. Can someone follow it back a little ways and see if there is an adapter to the merc harness?

Make certain you have a T20 driver tool to take the key pad off ....

No need to take the panel off to plug in the key switch assembly.

I have a 2010 Ranger 620 VS with Evinrude 250 HP H.O. Etec. When I installed the key switch assembly It doesn't start the Motor. I get 12 Volts at the Keyed ignition but it doesn't start the motor. The Brain box flashes red then green? Anyone have an issue like this before ? When I plug the connector back into the Key pad the motor will start like normal ?

Thank you so very much ! The yellow wires were the what I was missing ! I was unpluging the connector right behind the start &stop buttons. Tried it on the connector with the yellow wires and it started right up ! As soon as I unplugged it it looked just like your picture. Tight Lines & good karma coming your way !

Just had a keypad fail, was able to find one on ebay and I also ordered the switch.
