Anybody that fishes russell a good bit and could answer a few questions for me about running up rocky creek and find dirty water shoot me a pm. Wanting to know if it’s muddy now and does it dirty up easy. Fishing on the 10th and trying bit find my best bet to run to find dirty water if there is any.
When you say rocky creek, are you talking about the Rocky River side? If so, I'd say yes you'll find dirty water running up river beyond Hwy 81 bridge.
I didn't fish last week because of cold snap, but previous 3 weeks there were decent and getting better. Water in the main channel was about normal clarity when I was there, with more dirty/stained water going back into coves and stuff.
