Best prop x18 with 150 SHO

Like title what is best prop dad just ordered boat and trying to make sure he gets the right prop.

Thanks, so you think it would run a 25 I was thinking that maybe a little big?

That 150 has a 2.0 gear ratio and can turn taller props than other 150's with taller gears. The 4 stroke may not pull the same props as the 2 strokes... My X18 150 V-Max would pull a 25 really good.

I have a x18pfc with a 150SHO, which is basically the same boat with a different bow: I have a front livewell.
I have a 24 Tempest plus on the boat and can only turn 5600 rpms. Top speed about 58. Fully loaded drags it down to 5350 or so. I've seen 60 on some 30 degree perfectly still mornings. Wish I could find a 22 to try.

Also Test a 23M or 23 Tempest Plus if you can

2021 X18 with F150 came with Power Tech OFX 23P and turning right at 6000 rpms and on a good day 59.6 mph but normal is 58.5 fully loaded with just me. SHO is a different motor and might turn 25P ok
