Any help would be greatly appreciated for South Holston

I have a bass tournament on South Holston in mid April. Going out of Washington County Park. I have never been on the lake before. Any suggestions on where to go or not go? I hear there are a lot of small mouth in this lake. Do you think they will be shallow or out deep? What would be a good bait? Sorry for all the questions but any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again

Lake will be full then as East TN is flooded now. Two consistent baits to concentrate on are spinnerbait early as the alewife spawn will be happening and a texas-rigged green pumpkin finesse worm with no heavier than an 1/8 oz sinker and 8 pound test line max. Most big bags that time of year come out of the larger feeder creeks.

Thank you for the info. I have caught small mouth bass in the rivers around Richmond but never in a lake. Looking forward to giving it a try. Thanks again!
