They should do one in Green Bay in May. Green Bay has the facilities to host an expo and weigh-in. I'm not sure how the WDNR feels about launching in Sturgeon Bay and hauling the fish to Green Bay though. It's a shorter trip than Grand and Tulsa though

Correct, but they were there 3 years prior. Don't worry, I'm sure Grand will be either 2023 or 2024.

How about a Florida classic? North Carolina? Virginia? Missouri?

They had an Elite Series there in 2008 on Old Hickory. It was in June and the weights were terrible. I think about 55 lbs won it for a 4 day tournament. 5 fish limits were in the single digits! I don't think the Elite Series ever went back.

Going to be a long shoot, most the roads in the downtown area are ripped up and redoing with a bike lane and 2 traffic lane,

Knoxville was awesome. Expo, weighin, and launch all within walking distance

Nancy said we ain't going if the highway getting there is still under construction. She sure didn't mind waiting in the Evan Williams line in Expo. 3X.

Uggghhh. Hartwell. This is probably my least favorite of all the classic places they go. Boo

Knoxville was great. Never getting in the car once we was there was awesome. Loved it down there.

They had a regular elite series out of green bay several years ago and the WDNR cut them off just south of sturgeon bay. They are pretty adamant about which sections of water you can fish in based on where you are launching from.

I am just glad they are having one.

I would like to see some new or venues they haven't been in a while. Rotate it around a little more at least once every 8-10 years. Summer tourney on St Clair or Erie @ Buffalo. Others Chick, Logan Martin, James River , Ohio / Mississippi river, or Cal Delta.

They could have it on Table Rock and the Expo in either Branson or Springfield, home of BassPro. Oh wait nevermind.

It’s what’s been done pretty much since the 80’s. I don’t mind it but to each their own.

I really hope the Classic comes to Nashville sometime. Old Hickory or Priest would make great Classic venues and Nashville has the arena and event centers and everything else B.A.S.S. needs for a Classic.

Already reserved us a campsite at Tugaloo State Park. Can watch them on the water or drive to the expo about an hour away. Any excuse to use our camper lol.
