Water level is lower by almost 5 ft at present year over year. Water temp is going to get them moving up in the spring sweet spots. Remember to check the tire pressures on the trailer.

The back waters will be a lot warmer! The weather is predicted for a long stretch of warm weather starting the end of this week. I'll be out in 7-10 days. Maybe hit Brown's to start.

All pools north are coming down. Not much for rain forecasted. Temperatures are supposed to be warmer for the next couple weeks. Let the fun begin!

Got 7 in Spring Lake today. 6 keepers up to 3 3/4. 62-66 degree temps. About 4 hours fishing! I've never caught fish this early in Spring like that!

2nd time out this year. The best big fish day I've ever had! Caught 18 and they were still biting when I left! Biggest 4 fish weighed 17lbs! All in Spring Lake. I only saw 1 other boat. I shoulders weren't really in shape yet for that kind of workout so probably ain't gonna get much done today!

Yeah I got to the ramp and a friend of mine was just pulling out. Good fisherman. He only caught 1 that day and said I might be wasting time. But I went anyway. Did NOT waste my time for sure!
