    Lakemaster Compatability Question

What map for the Southeast States (Al, FL, etc.) can I use in my older Hummingbird 798CI SI non HD model graph? I have the new mapping card for my Helix but need one for the 798 on the console for navigating up and down the river. An older version, etc. is fine. Just need to know which one.

I fish mainly Wheeler and Guntersville lake.

    Thank you,

lakemaster compatibility with humminbird - Bing

Since you have a Lakemaster card, try it in the 798 to see how it does. The newer cards have so much data that the 798 may not process it fast enough for on-plane use.

AND either lake may not be on some of the older cards if you can find one.
All the generations and their coverage is on the Humminbird website.

The Midsouth Version 3 map I used in Oklahoma worked well in my non HD 798 when I selected the Oologah Lake HD map. Can I expect the same with the Southeast card if I used an older version my 798 can handle?
    Thanks,
    Bill
