    Oxidation question

Just picked up my first glass boat couple months ago a 97 Ranger 461vs. I don't think it's in to bad of shape and I have been reading and watching many videos on removing oxidation. It has fiberglass fenders and paint is all green metallic and it's the worst and was going to start with wet sanding. My biggest question is the top cap that is mostly white with a strip of metallic in it. I have not seen anything on white so don't know if I should start with light wet sanding? Also at the back of the boat it has raised metal lettering and decals and am wondering if I try and buff that area it could catch pad and rip off? Any advice would be appreciated.IMG_20210323_181145256.jpgIMG_20210323_181255289.jpgIMG_20210323_181255289.jpgIMG_20210323_181224654.jpg

Well trust me your don't have much oxidation

And there is a product made by maguires its for heavy oxidation its a compound. Tbh I cannot hardly even see much oxidation on that boat!!
But I used the meguires on a 89 ranger I used to own and I did it mostly with a rag and the compound and it brought that boat back to life!!!
Kid you not stuff works amazing its not cheap but works great

All that raised lettering is plastic. I had to replace mine one time on a 461 that I owned years ago. I bought them straight from Ranger.

If you don’t sand it the oxidation will come back.....I see it all the time.
