Tired of the previous RAM ball mount, last year I made my own aluminum mount with detent-ball bearings for adjustability. Just finished painting it with Metalcast spray paint (to resemble red anodizing) to match the other components I've made for the boat. Really like how solid this mount is!
Also routed all wiring through the TM tray, so I can cap off the old RAM mount on the deck.
While I was at it, I added another LED light under the trolling motor pedal tray cover, hooked into the other dimmable light strips.
I decided to make a new aluminum mounting plate for the console electronics too, painted the same color. Ignore the filthy boat - needs spring cleaning.
Matches the dash redo I did from several years ago, with carbon fiber wrap, and custom made gauge bezels...
