    Joe Wheeler state park lodge.

My brother and I are coming down there on April 10th for that week and are staying at the lodge. Does anyone know if there is a place where you park your boat and trailer with access to charge the batteries close to the lodge?

The parking area at the lodge is well lit and plenty of plugs to charge your boat. Parking spaces aren't large enough for you to leave your boat/tow rig connected unless they aren't very busy then you can take up multiple spaces and stay connected. Enjoy your trip!

Thanks! It’s our first time to the area so hoping for good weather and fishing. We were supposed to go last year but COVID got us. Had been going to Kentucky Lake and Barkley for years but the last few years with the carp ruined it for us.
